Feta Cheese Flavored Orzo
The perfect summer side dish. I like to serve it at room temperature, adding a bit more oil and topped with chopped tomato. Quick and easy side for grilled foods.

Southern Style Macaroni and Cheese
Very cheesy, very easy and oh so good! This is my family's absolutely favorite mac and cheese. I can't even think about making a different recipe without getting, "what, are you nuts?". You can bake this in the oven or use the crockpot method. Hope you like this as much as we do!

Golden dragon pad thai
Posted on July 13th, 2010
Golden Dragon Pad Thai This is my Favorite Thai recipe. Simple to make yet elegant in presentation. Just be careful with the oil content. It may seem excessive, but too little oil, and the noodles will stick and you'll have a mess in your wok. You can get away with 5 tbs. or so instead of the full 1/2 cup but you will have to work extremely fast to avoid the sticking. This will serve about 4 as a noodle side dish or 2 as a main course. by 1Steve

This is our favorite side dish in the summer. It's so good when freshly cooked, the kids even love it. This bears NO resemblence to canned spinach! Quick and easy.

Microwaved baked egg custard
Posted on July 13th, 2010
Microwaved ' Baked' Egg Custard A quick easy egg custard for times when comfort food is needed. **Note.....This recipe is for a 700wt microwave. For other wattage ovens check your book that came with it for guidelines. For my new Panasonic 1200wt oven which has 1-10 power levels, I heat milk on Hi (100%power) for the 3mins then for cooking I use P3 (30% power)and cook at this level for 15mins, then leave to stand covered for 5mins. As all ovens are different this is a guide only. Experiments may be needed to get the best result. by Jen T
